This looked kind of cute, but I already feel over-committed in my TV habits. Still, I hear they are cancelling Eli Stone and LOST doesn't start until late January . . .
PSS Don't drop Viggo! I don't see what all you girls do in Ioan, to be perfectly honest. Yesterday there was a Lord of the Rings marathon on and we caught bits and pieces. I don't care how many times I've seen it (probably an embarrassing number for a woman anyway), I'm moved to tears every time Viggo gives his speech at the Black Gate. "I see fear in your eyes that would shake the very heart of me . . . But this is not that day!" He is SO the King of Men.
And. you. must. see. X-Men. You liked Iron Man, right? The first of the three is exceptional, the second is great, and the third is really dark and sad. But Hugh Jackman is, well, fantastic throughout.
STM--I saw some of that Lord of the Rings marathon and I've got to agree with you Viggo is fantastic. I keep him on my list just for that. I liked Iron Man a great deal so I will be checking out X-Men. And I loved your review of X-Men. Have you seen the Horatio Hornblower movies? That is where my Ioan love comes from--cute boyish nature combined with loyalty and courage.
MBC--I'm sad to hear the first was very cheesy--although I probably should have expected that since it is a made for TNT movie. But the trailer (which is being shown in movie theaters) looks quite good like Indian Jones for librarians. I'm hoping.
Haven't seen Horatio Hornblower. When asked how he felt about the loss of tradition as the British Navy declined, Winston Churchill is said to have replied, "The only traditions in the British navy are scurvy and sodomy." Let's just say that sailors have never really been my cup of tea. :) And the Fantastic Four movies are just wretched.

I saw the first one and it was VERY bad, but cheers to everyone involved for portraying librarians as heroes.

PS I did an Australia review of sorts myself. Not sure how I missed your last post.

Don't give up on Viggo. . .
