I'm Getting Old

Over the weekend I attended a volleyball match at BYU. I have been attending BYU volleyball matches for years and years and have enjoyed them for a variety of reasons. Not the least of these reasons is that there tends to be a few very good looking men playing (tall and athletic is a very good start for me). But, sadly, for the first time this year I have reached a point where these young men no longer have the same effect on me. I have become too old and they have become too young for me to feel a personal attraction to any of them. I suppose this is good in the sense that it is proof that I am not a sick pervert. But is it kind of a sad day for me as well. Not that I'm going to stop attending these matches (or other sporting events) because there still are enough other good reasons to go, but this is proof positive that I am getting old or at least older.

I think BYU has younger athletes as well. Come to Oregon and hunt for men!!!

Not true--because of missions lots of BYU athletes are older than the average college athlete.

You crack me up!! I am glad to know that you are not a sick pervert. ;) I thought of you the other night when my family went to a college hockey game. I was thinking that it would be the type of event that I could get you to come along.

P.S. I haven't forgotten that you tagged me. I am just a bit slow. Although we have updated our blog if you want to check out the new pics.

I would totally be on board with going to a college hockey game. I attended a few Boston University games and they were so much fun--and I don't even really get hockey--not to mention I would jump at the chance of going out with you.
